Punjab Grill by Jiggs Kalra
My first ever brand! I had no clue as to what I was doing for the first two months when I had quit the sales position I had and was offered a position in marketing, considering my creative skills.
Whoa!
Me, creative?
Okay, well, Okay! :)
Starting from editing press releases to coming up with new brand taglines and copies, editing menu descriptions, while keeping in mind the niche clientele of the brand and the association with one of the best gourmets ever, Mr. Jiggs Kalra.
Below are some creatives for Punjab Grill, copies by me:
Pollo Campero:
A Latin-American Chicken chain, which is now in India.
I wasn't a part of the initial marketing team for Pollo, however, there was a later stage where I got involved into the brand and honestly, the journey was exciting.
Moving from a Fine-Dining brand where I had to be all sophisticated and "Classy", i finally got to widen my horizon, to go beyond just print media to things like radio advertising too, things I just used to think of ;)
The team, after a lot of brain storming, decided upon the theme of "Thinking Out of the Bucket"
Now, Pollo was kinda competition to another Fried Chicken Major,if not in Delhi, in Pune, it was.
The theme of "Think Outside the Bucket" could've been a pot-shot at the competitor, simply because they sell their chicken in buckets :D
More on its way...;)
